Today the Swiss Freediving Lake Championship took place in Herrliberg.
Last year I've been there as a safty diver. Apart from having a lot of fun, I had a real good training day with over 65 dives. ;)
So I decided to do this again because with my depths around 40m, I had not a ghost of a chance. Anyway I needed to
feel some competition pressure and I wanted to know if it will be possible for me to achieve my target depth when required,
and not only when I'm in the mood.
As this competition was only for CWT and FIM, and CNF is my favourite discipline, I asked the organizer, if it would be possible to do
CNF as a starter (official rules, but without any points for the competition) and after that, doing safety.
Long story short: A lot of training, two lost chances for good deep CNF training
(goal for training was 38-40m, reached only 35m), announced 36m for the competition,
and managed it, PB ;)
